PŌHIRI WELCOME
Haere mai – Welcome to Rotorua, New Zealand! The official welcome to the event will be a Pōhiri (welcome) at Te Aronui a Rua Marae, Te Puia, Rotorua. In the traditional style of the people of the Te Arawa tribe, you will be welcomed onto the marae (meeting house). It is an honour for the event to be welcomed on to such a magnificent and sacred site.
FREE for all registered athletes and their family members.
Location: Te Puia, Hemo Rd, Rotorua. Parking is at the southern carpark, off SH30 roundabout

THURSDAY 12 FEBRUARY: 2PM – 6PM
FRIDAY 13 FEBRUARY: 9AM – 7PM
SATURDAY 14 FEBRUARY: 10AM – 5PM
SUNDAY 15 FEBRUARY: 9AM – 3PM
The Tarawera Ultra-Trail by UTMB Event Expo is a small expo celebrating the world of Ultra-Trail running and adventure.
Located at race check-in at the Village Green, the expo will be frequented by excited trail runners, supporters, spectators and support crew that descend upon Rotorua for the race.
Prize Giving
Prize giving for the top 5 male and female in the T50 & T21 will be held at the finish line on the Village Green at 5:00pm, Saturday.
Prize giving for the top 5 male and female in the TMiler, T102 and T14 will be held at the finish line on the Village Green at 12:30pm, Sunday.
